I WILL PUT MY HOPE IN GOD

Why am I discouraged? Why is my heart so sad? I will put my hope in God! I will praise him again – my savior and my God. [Psalm 43:5 (NLT)]

We must never let past hurts be the defining moments of our lives. Our identity lies in God. He loves and accepts us, guides and protects us, forgives us and gives us hope!

TRUST IN THE LORD

Trust in the Lord with all your heart, do not depend on your own understanding. Seek his will in all you do, and he will show you which path to take. [Proverbs 3:5-6 (NLT)]

Forgive us, Lord, but sometimes the challenges of this life keep us from feeling your presence and knowing your love. It isn’t that you are not there; we are simply not looking! Open our eyes to your glory. Reassure us of your loving presence and help us see your hand in all that happens. Guide us in the steps we take today.

THE RIGHT PATH

Show me the right path, O Lord; point out the road for me to follow. Lead me by your truth and teach me, for you are the God who saves me. All day long I put my hope in you. [Psalm 25:4-5 (NLT)]

With God leading us, we will never be lost or alone. He may not lead us to where we want to be and we may not arrive when we want to arrive, but we can be confident that He will lead us to where we belong and we will arrive at the right time!

Have a good day and trust where He leads you this week.

YOU ARE WONDERFULLY MADE

I will give thanks to you because I have been so amazingly and miraculously made. Your works are miraculous and my soul is fully aware of this. [Psalm 139:14 (GW)]

Today, look at yourself in the mirror and tell yourself what it is you like about yourself. Too often we look into the mirror only to see what we dislike about ourselves. But we are God’s precious gift…and he doesn’t make junk. We are, indeed, amazingly and miraculously made!

WHAT’S IMPORTANT?

Everyone will stand in front of God to be judged. … All of us will have to give an account of ourselves to God. [Romans 14:10b,12 (GW)]

At the end of the day, this fundamental fact remains: what is important is not what other people think about us or say about us, but rather what God knows about us!
